The village of Takeley has most amenities typical of a small village, including two pubs and local shops. Takeley is not far from Stansted Airport but does not lie in the flight path, so is still peaceful in its countryside location. Great Dunmow and Bishops Stortford are the closest towns to the park, where you can find more shops and amenities.
